How do I pay?+
With MTN Mobile Money or Airtel Money. At checkout you enter your number, we send a payment prompt to your phone, and you approve it with your PIN. Your server starts installing as soon as the payment is confirmed.
How fast is my server ready?+
Usually within 5 to 15 minutes of payment. You'll see its progress live in your dashboard, and the IP address and root password appear there when it's ready.
What happens when my month ends?+
We remind you a few days before. Renew from the dashboard with Mobile Money and the time is added on. If a server isn't renewed, it's stopped 3 days after it expires and deleted 10 days after, so please keep backups of important data.
Can I pay for several months at once?+
Yes: 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. Renewals always add time after the current end date, so you never lose days by renewing early.
Which operating systems can I use?+
Ubuntu 24.04 and 22.04, Debian 12, AlmaLinux 9 and Rocky Linux 9. You can reinstall with a different one from the dashboard at any time (this erases the disk).
Where are the servers?+
In professional data centres run by our infrastructure partner, in Germany, the UK, the US, Singapore, India, Japan and Australia. Europe is recommended for East Africa.
Do you set up the server for me?+
You get full root access to do it yourself. If you'd like us to install and manage your software (for example ERPNext, a website or a database), Terry Technologies can do it as a service; just ask.
